CANTON — The Canton Chamber of Commerce met at the Canton Sentinel for their November meeting on Nov. 5, at noon.
Much of the discussion revolved around what the plans were for Light Night and Small Business Saturday.
Due to rising COVID cases, the bank will not be able to host Santa this year. Instead, Chamber came up with the idea to have Santa riding around town on either a carriage or fire truck to greet residents.
Plans for the night will continue with the light contest and Chamber agreed to purchase white lights for businesses needing them to help light up the town this year.
A Christmas decorating contest will still happen. There will be prizes for the winners. More information will be announced.
