Northern Tier Career Center Skills USA members attended the District 6 Skills USA Competitions February 6th at Pennsylvania College of Technology and February 12th at NTCC. District 6 consists of twelve schools: Central Mountain High School, Columbia-Montour AVTS, Lycoming County Career and Technology Center, NTCC, Northumberland County Career and Technology Center, SUN Career and Technology Center, Schuylkill Technology Centers – North and South, Wellsboro High School, Williamsport High School, Milton High School and Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Skills USA serves trade, industrial, technical, and health occupations students by developing their skills and leadership qualities. The competencies that these students receive through their vocational training, combined with the employability skills learned through Skills USA, produce a professionally employable student. Competition begins locally and continues through district, state, national, and international levels.

Students who placed first at district competition will compete in state competition April 8, 9, and 10 in Hershey. Also competing at the State Level: Mariah Daugherty - Medical Assisting and Blaze Salsman, Dakota Watkins, Terilyn Walters, and Dakota Miller – Entrepreneurship.
