On Friday, the Bradford County Envirothon was held at the Mount Pisgah County Park where 17 teams of students were tested on their knowledge in the areas of forestry, soils, aquatics, wildlife, and urban forestry.
Troy once again took first place at the event, which was followed by Northeast Bradford, two teams from North Rome Christian School, then Troy and sixth place was a team from Canton.
Those who placed in the top 6 places received a variety of prizes and awards. Nick Martin, Casey Baxter, Tricia Hojnowski, Dawn Zimmerman, and MaKenna Martin of Troy will represent Bradford County at the 2015 PA Envirothon which will be held at the University of Pittsburgh Johnstown and Windber Recreation Park.
