First Citizens Community Bank donated $500 toward the "From Our Farms To Your Arms" program, which is being revived at Canton Elementary School. Goodview Farm and Northern Tier Greens also are major donors to the program. Janet Holmes, Manager of the Canton office of First Citizens, presents the check to Debbra Keppler and Tom Hojnowski, coordinators of "From Our Farms To Your Arms."The “From Our Farms to Your Arms” program will once again be held at the Canton Elementary School on Tuesday, April 28 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. According to one of the coordinators, Tom Hojnowski who is the agricultural teacher, there are three local donors to this program. Goodview Farm, First Citizens National Bank and Northern Tier Greens are this year’s donors.
The evening event will include free samples of local cheeses, mixed greens, milk and meats. An outdoor petting zoo and other fun events are being planned for the children. The event is free to the public. Drawings for door prizes will conclude the evening program.
