Sunday evening, three northern-tier high school seniors represented their schools at the 2015 America's Homecoming Queen Pageant at the Lancaster Host and Resort Center in Lancaster, PA.
There, the young ladies went through a private interview by the judges, a ball gown segment, and a question and answer time in front of the audience.
The program is designed to promote leaders of tomorrow by promoting education, community service, and educational travel.
Although the northern tier representation did not move on to the national competition, they learned much through the process and those in their school districts should be proud of the representation at the state level.
