The Pennsylvania FFA Association just ran their election of officers for the 2020-2021 school year. The process was quite different in a time of the Coronavirus virus but had similar procedures during the process.
The 21 officer candidates were interviewed, tested, and selected over a four-day time frame using computer technology in a virtual manner.
One of the seven selected in the process was Cheyenne Bastian-Brown of the Canton FFA chapter as the new 2020-2021 state treasurer. Cheyenne, a past Troy Fair queen and Bradford County FFA President has been promoting agriculture throughout her time in the Canton Agriculture program and will continue to do so for the upcoming year.
Her obligations in supporting the state association will delay her start at Penn State University in the area of Law for a year, while she travels across the state and nation representing Pennsylvania agriculture.
