Every year, the Troy Area School District Holds its annual Scholastic Awards Ceremony. This year, Mrs. Sue Shipman, principal of the Troy High School, welcomed all the students, their families, friends, and guests. Over 75 awards were presented to deserving students. Eighth Grade Oral History Night is always one of the most popular events at Canton High School. This year's event was held on May 13 in the Auditorium Lobby and the adjoining hallway. Visitors had the opportunity to vote on their favorite project. The People's Choice winner was Caitlyn Pepper. The 119th Troy High School Alumni Reception was held Friday evening, May 22, at the Troy Memorial Auditorium. On May 21, students in fifth and sixth grade held a spring choral and band concert.
The program was opened by the fifth and sixth grade chorus, under the direction of Brianne Carpenter, director and Charlie Hawthorne, accompanist with the theme from Spiderman. The Troy Youth Arts Camp is looking for participants for this yearʼs Arts Camp located at the W.R. Croman Primary School in Troy, Pa.

Ten Troy Intermediate School Students' artworks are currently on display at the Arnot Health Medical Services on Mud Creek Road in Troy, PA. Arnot Health Medical Services had student works hung, labeled and custom framed in high quality glass. Thank you to Gabrielle L. Erway and her team for showcasing our students' works. Starting from top to bottom student works include, Sailor George, Jade Brown, Miguel Ruiz, Courtnie Hoffman, Haley Lewis, Michael Hopper, Macy Vroman, Kyra Magee, Anneliese Getola, and Jacob Wales. |
