The classes may change, but the excitement does not as trucks and tractors compete for prize money and trophies on the track at the Tioga County Fair. Tuesday, Aug. 11, trucks ranging in size from pickups to semis will be featured at the Truck Pull starting at 7 p.m.
Truck classes for Tuesday’s Pull are: 6200 lbs Street Stock 4x4, 6200 lbs Open Class 4x4, 6800 lbs Street Stock 4x4, 6800 lbs Open Class 4x4, 8000 lbs Street Legal Diesel 4x4, 8000 lbs Diesel Open Class 4x4, Semis Street Legal

Entry Fee for each class in both events is $15.00. Premiums for Truck Pull are $150 for first place, $100 for second place, $75 for third place, $50 for fourth place. Trophies will also be awarded to the first place drivers.
Wednesday, Aug. 12, the Tractor Pull presents more excitement at 7 p.m. with the following classes: 5500 Enhanced Farm Stock – small tire (15.5 x 38 max tire size), 5500 Enhanced Farm Stock – big tire (18.4 x 38 max tire size), 6500 Enhanced Farm Stock – small tire (15.5 x 38 max tire size), 6500 Enhanced Farm Stock – big tire (18.4 x 38 max tire size), 8500 Open, 10,000 Open, 6500 Open (18.4 /38 max tire size), 7500 Open (18.4 /38 max tire size), 6500 V-8 (18.4 /38 max tire size), 7500 V-8 (18.4 /38 max tire size), 9000 Hot Stock / Mod Turbo, and 10,000 Hot Stock / Mod Turbo.
Premiums for Enhanced division of Tractor Pull are $100 for first place, $75 for second place, $50 for third place, and $25 for fourth place. Premiums for tne Non-Turbo/Hot Stock/Open division are $200 for first place, $100 for second, place, $75 for third place and $50 for fourth place. Trophies will be awarded to first place drivers.

Advance tickets for the pulls are $7 per person until July 31. Children 36 inches and under receive free admission. Ticket prices increase by $2 on Aug. 1. Ticket price does NOT include admission. Tickets may be ordered only on-line at the fair’s website TiogaCountyFair.com. PayPal and major credit cards are accepted. No PayPal account necessary to order tickets.
Anyone entering the Fairgrounds through the Track area must purchase a $15 Pit Pass on the day of the event that will include admission to the Fair, admission to the Track event and access to the lower Track area.
The Fairgrounds is located in Whitneyville, just off of Route 6, midway between Mansfield and Wellsboro.
