The Towanda Gun Club recently purchased several items that were donated to the Pennsylvania Game Commission in order to help Wildlife Conservation Officers in conducting wildlife law enforcement, nuisance control, and research activities. Donated items include one robotic deer and one robotic turkey facsimile, three Comstock live beaver traps, and two aluminum research bear “barrel” traps. “The members of the Towanda Gun Club are happy to support Game Commission Wildlife Conservation Officers through our donations of tools and equipment needed to help them carry out their duties more effectively,” said gun club secretary Mark Madden. |
The Towanda Gun Club also hosts several Hunter/Trapper Education classes each year.
“We look forward to continuing our support of wildlife conservation and hunter/trapper education programs in any way possible,” added Madden.
