September 7 - Friends of Mt. Pisgah meeting – 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm - Nature Center. Monthly meeting to discuss park business and events. Open to the public, please join us!
September 12 - Patriots in the Park – 10:00 am–2:00 pm – Hilltop & Lakeside Pavilion. We are offering free activities and lunch to thank veterans, active military personnel and their families for their service to our country. Spend the day and try your hand at fishing, canoeing, kayaking, archery and GPS. Meet with local dignitaries and County Commissioners. Lunch will be provided by the Friends of Mt. Pisgah State Park.
September 27 - 3-D Archery Shoot – 9:00 am - 3:00 pm - Hilltop Pavilion. Get ready for the archery season, practice your shooting skills at our 3-D archery course. Donation requested.
September 30 - Green Career Day – 9:30 - 1:30 - Hilltop, Friends, Poolside & Lakeside Pavilions. This event is for 8th graders to explore the different types of jobs and career paths with working in the outdoors. Please contact the park for more information. This event is done in partnership with the Bradford County Conservation District & the Bureau of Forestry. Homeschool groups are welcome. Participants must pre-register! Listen to the music of Double Take, roast hot dogs and s'mores over an open fire. This event is a hands-on day in the outdoors sponsored by the Friends of Mt. Pisgah State Park.

Please join us for the 2nd annual “Taste of the Endless Mountains” event to be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 10 am til 2 pm at the Troy Sale Barn. The Bradford County Ag Coalition, Bradford County Conservation District, Endless Mountains Heritage Region and Mt. Pisgah State Park have developed this event to showcase locally produced food and locally prepared dishes—along with the historical value of the Troy Sale Barn. Area farmers, restaurants, caterers, crafters & producers will be setting up tables in the Troy Sale Barn to showcase their products—consumers will have a chance to meet their farmer and sample their locally produced goods—and purchase items to take home. Door prizes will be awarded—bring the whole family, sample some tasty treats, stock your pantry for the upcoming winter and get a start on your holiday shopping.
Please join us in this FREE celebration of local entrepreneur-ism, agricultural viability, our rich culture and heritage, food security and healthy lifestyles—what a great way to celebrate the harvest season in the Endless Mountains!
October 18 - Cable Restraint Class – 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Nature Center. PA Game Commission sponsored class to instruct hunters/trappers in the best methods restraints. Participants must pre-register! Registration will be through the Game Commission website.
