The Canton Lady Warriors won a big matchup on Monday night, defeating North Penn-Mansfield 41-38.
The win helps the Lady Warriors as they make a push towards the playoffs with just three weeks to go in the regular season.
Tamara Hess had 16 points, including a three with a minute to go and the game-clinching free throws in the win.
Courtney Weiskopff scored eight points and Hailey Wesneski had seven points. Elle Binford and Reagan Kelly each finished with four points. Kaitlyn Krise added two points in the game.
Hess had eight boards and four steals and Krise had four steals, while Wesneski had five rebounds and three steals.
Binford had four assists and Kelly had two assists, while Weiskopff had seven rebounds.
JoAnne McNamara had 18 points for the Tigers in the loss and Lizzi Welch had seven points.
Jeannette Montefusco added six points for NPM, Jaime Palmer chipped in with four points and Emma Palmer added three points.
Palmer also grabbed three steals and two assists to go along with four boards and McNamara had three assists and Montefusco had five steals. Welch had nine boards.

Tamara Hess helped the Lady Warriors open up a 14-10 lead in the opening frame.
The Panthers out scored the Warriors 29-9 in the second and third quarters to push them over the Warriors.
Hess led Canton with 20 points with Hailey Weneski netting six. Elle Binford added four, Reagan Kelley netted three and Courtney Weiskopff scored two.
Lauryn Jones led the Panthers with 15 points while Vicki Rought and Lindsay Moore had eight points a piece.
Aaliyah Bevqcqua and Lauryn Schultz both netted six, Krista Hallett scored four with Jorja Welch and Loren Zook each had two.

Roxanne Kingsley had 14 points to lead Troy. Katherine Polakowski added eight points.
