The 17th Tour de Shunk bicycle ride will start at Rocky's Bicycle Shop at 9 am on Sunday September 20th . For only $25, riders get a fully-supported ride, spaghetti dinner, and massage afterward while supporting local charities. This year the proceeds will be split between Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Nancy Quattrini Fund at Guthrie. Most cyclists choose the 100-mile course, but there are also <25 and 50 mile options for those not quite ready for the full 'century' ride. The Tour de Shunk Century passes through scenic Bradford, Sullivan, Lycoming, and Tioga Counties, has about 7000' of climbing, and was voted one of the most challenging century rides in the country by the League of American Bicyclists.
