During the meeting, Jerry May from MC Insurance went over the new insurance policy for the upcoming year. He brought to the board's attention several additions such as coverage for sexual, verbal, and general abuse, privacy matters (breaking into computers and retrieving private information) and increasing the value of property rebuilding.
Mr. May wanted to commend Mrs. Bixby, Mrs. Gilliland, and the rest of the safety committee for during a wonderful job, which in turn lowered the insurance rate.
The resignation of Virginia Roupp Personal Care Aide at TIS was approved.
Members of the board were asked to read the information of those people running for President and Vice President of the PSBA.
