I think that we all agree on one thing, we are all going to die. We don’t know where or when, but it WILL happen. Is there something greater than ourselves and then something afterward? Should we be preparing for the inevitable? We have a will for what we leave behind here, but what about us? Jesus, (The Son of God, who died as a sacrifice for YOU) says so in John 14:2 and 3, My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. And in 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” He says there is a place after death and that He is the only way. Perhaps you aren’t sure what to believe, but wouldn’t it be wise to investigate, prepare? Something to think about…
A not so quick lady is overweight, so her doctor puts her on a diet. "I want you to eat regularly for two days, then skip a day, and repeat the procedure for two weeks. The next time I see you, you'll have lost at least five pounds." When the lady returns, she's lost nearly 20 pounds. "Why, that's amazing!" the doctor says. "Did you follow my instructions?" The lady nods. "I'll tell you, though; I thought I was going to drop dead that third day." "From hunger, you mean?" said the doctor. "No, from skipping," she replied.
