It is not politically correct to say so, but Mr. Springsteen and PayPal and the NFL are not the only ones with “conscience.” People on the other side of the issue can have deeply-held moral or personal beliefs as well. Objecting to men using the ladies room does not make one a bigot.
Maybe someone can explain to us why elected officials and businessmen find distasteful the “traditional” moral positions of Americans, yet enthusiastically associate with places such as Cuba or China or Saudi Arabia or other countries where human rights are routinely violated.
