Thursday night was the night for bagging candy for Truck or Treat. With a good crowd to help, we got it done fast. Thank you to all who helped with that and to those who helped giving them out on Saturday night after the parade. Those who went downtown to the parade all came back with the report of a very good parade.
Back here at Hillcrest, the trick or treaters were greeted at the door by Goldilocks, the official greeter.
Many of the tenants were in the community room to greet them also. A total of 182 bags of candy were given out.
Tuesday of last week, Joyce and I attended the viewing of Mavis White, the grandmother of two of our grandsons, Vernon and Chris Sager.
Friday afternoon an old friend of many year, Jane Chapman called on Joyce and I bringing many happy memories of visits to Keuka Lake with her and Ken Chapman.
Richard had the Sunday night service with a message from Psalms 46: "God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in time of trouble."
