I noticed this morning as I looked out the window up across the lawn as leaves are falling already and as we look around we can see some color in some of the others. Soon it will be beautiful with lots of color. We love to just ride around the countryside when the beautiful fall leaves are at their best.
Thursday Joyce and I enjoyed dinner at the Milky Way with some of our many Canton friends.
Saturday, we attended the Memorial Service of Helen Carnwright, a dear friend and former sister-in-law. It was a beautiful day and Pastor Ken Marple did a wonderful message based on Life's Railway to Heaven. Afterwards dinner was held at the Iron Skillet with family and friends. A special thank you to Bob and Doris for dinner.
While at the Memorial service,we saw a former Hillcrest tenant, Gladys Hurlburt, who asked that we say hi to all her old friends and neighbors.
Last Wednesday Roger and Joyce Castle called on us as well for a visit. Seemed good to see some of our friends from the Faith Baptist Church. We haven't been out to church too much lately due to our own health problems.
Richard had the Sunday night service this week with a message from Acts 16: 25 to 40, the midnight prayer service in prison and the founding of Philippian church, the only church founded by an earthquake. Shirley Young played the piano.
This week is supposed to be warmer so enjoy the beautiful fall weather while it is here.
