Speaking of the deer, we had a real nice 10-point buck standing on the hillside across the sidewalk from our kitchen window, today.
This week has been a pretty good week for dinners with the Alba Church bringing dinner over for several, Thursday night. Thank you to the ladies of the Alba Church for a very delicious pork dinner and a special thank you to Janet Dunbar for delivering them.
Saturday, a large crowd enjoyed the catered dinner by Fran Martin in the community room. Thank you Fran and your helper for another very delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
Birthday wishes go out this week to Glenda Slater celebrating her birthday November 25th and to Doris Knapp celebrating her birthday, November 28th. Happy birthday, ladies!
Many of the doors, especially the community room are decorated for Thanksgiving. Be sure to look at the turkey made out of a big squash with a turnip head and grapes for eyes and nose, etc. It was put together by Julia Beach and Kelly Davis. Good job, ladies.
Vernon Sager, Sr. called on his grandparents Richard and Joyce, Sunday evening.
Richard had the Sunday night church service this week with a message from Revelation 22:1 to 5 "How beautiful Heaven will be and how amazing it will be when we see Jesus face to face." Shirley Young played the piano for the song service.
