We have had quite a little rain lately. I looked at the rain gauge last night and it had over 2 inches of rain in it. However, it hadn't been emptied for a few days.
With the 4th of July coming up next week, many of the doors are decorated with red, white, and blue and lot of flags, etc.
Do you remember when nearly every town had fireworks on the 4th? I remember Troy's at Alparon Park, back when we were younger and the railroad still ran through the park.
I remember one 4th back in my dating days when all of a sudden a pouring rain came along and the fireworks were cancelled until Saturday night.

What is a Father? He is gentle enough to cradle you in his arms, and strong enough to catch you when you fall. He's patient enough to teach you all he knows and understands when you think you know it all.
He is wise enough to lead you in the right direction. But gives you enough to choose your own way.
He is the Pastor of his home, the picture of Christ for his children. He is not ashamed to shed a tear or confess a fear, He is ready to admit when he is wrong, and he never says I told you so! He doesn't mind if you call him daddy cause you will always be his child.
Richard had the Sunday evening church service this week with the reading "what is a Father?" and a message from Luke 15: 3-7 the parable of the Lost Sheep and Romans 8: 14-17 God has adopted up into the family of God as children of God, and joint heirs with Jesus if we believe and accept Jesus as our Saviour.
