Last week a good friend and neighbor gave me a clipping out of the Canton Sentinel from a few years back. It was about the wild turkey in downtown Canton. It told of another person who saw it window shopping at Stull's Flowers, and how I saw it while I was sitting at the kitchen table when we lived at McCallum Manor.
Which also reminds me: Nan Wilcox reported seeing the first newborn fawn on the back sidewalk yesterday from their second floor apartment. Hopefully we'll be seeing a lot of them soon. We did see a nice young buck this past week with a small rack of horns started already.
Get well wishes go to Cheryl Miller and Hazel Benson, who spent some time in the hospital last week.
Last Wednesday was a beautiful day. We had to go to Elmira to see my heart doctor for a check-up. (It was a good report, by the way.) We decided to take advantage of if and went on up to Sam's Club for some shopping.

Richard had the Sunday evening church service this week with a message from Psalm 46 - "God is our refuge and strength" with some thoughts connecting it with Revelation 22. Shirley Young played the piano for some beautiful singing.
