Many enjoyed a delicious, free, Thanksgiving dinner, fixed and put on by Tamie and Dave Storrs and family from the Family Haven Church, for all who had no place to go and enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving Day; and all who came in and enjoyed it appreciated it. A very special thank you to the Storrs family. It was wonderful. Pastor Storrs read the Thanksgiving Psalm (Psalm 100), and later a Magic Show was performed by one of the sons in the family, after all had a chance to enjoy dinner.
Last Sunday Pastor Rich Noggle had the church service here with a message from Matthew 24, signs of the end times, waiting for Christ's return. Be ready! Shirley Young played the piano.
This week it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Hillcrest with lights and Christmas trees etc. in the windows as well as out front, with Santa Claus and Frosty the Snowman to greet you; not to mention the hallways, with many of the doors already decorated for the door judging contest, Dec. 18 at 2 pm with a party and awards given afterwards.

They attended the Troy Area School Foundation Distinguished Alumni Awards reception, where Martha received a plaque to honor Pat Ballard. The Sunday night service this week was from the Alba Christian Church under the direction of Charlotte Morse with Christmas songs and communion led by Pastor Sheila Core, followed by some of the songs from their Christmas Cantata by the church choir and finger foods and fellowship for a great time with the Lord.
