As the chaplain, I have a high respect for the patient’s and caregiver’s personal faith and belief. I do not want to change your beliefs but I do enjoy talking with you about yours. As Chaplain I am available to assist the patient and their family in coping with the significant spiritual issues that may arise during terminal illness. To answer questions of a spiritual nature that either the patient or family may have. To provide spiritual support, comfort and prayer as the patient progresses through this terminal illness. If the patient is not affiliated with a church or connected with any spiritual support, I am available to provide that support if the patient and family so desire.
If you have not already done so, I can contact the patient’s pastor with their permission to provide you with additional ongoing spiritual support.
As the Hospice Chaplain, I want to provide spiritual support, answer any spiritual questions or concerns the patient and family may have and provide a spiritual presence at this difficult time.
