With May right around the corner, I sure hope it is going to get warmer. It seems like the wind has been very vicious the past few months.
Friday night Cindy Putnam and Brian Crandell with Brian’s granddaughter Kennadie Finogle went to supper with Jami Thomas Park and husband Mike and grandkids Cameron and Damon in Spencer, NY.
The grandsons came home with Grammy and Pampy to spend the night. Saturday Cindy Putnam took her grandkids to the Maple Festival and met their mommies, Jami and Nicole Crandell Watkins and brother Hunter. The kids rode rides and we all ate, it was a nice day.
Ron Butcher, Horseheads, NY visited Gary and Esther Butcher and other family members on Monday. It’s been over a year since he was down this way. He is doing quite well at this time.
Our condolences to the family and friends of Mr. James Hulslander who passed away over the weekend.
The feed stores are in full swing as the farmers are buying their seeds and fertilizers for planting. That’s a sure sign of Spring, and we sure deserve it.
Sharlene Colton and Pauline Clark attended the Chiz Rider program at the Alba Church on Sunday evening.

Finally some beautiful weather, the flowers are in bloom and the bushes have buds on them.
Sheldon and Linda Perry, Horseheads came down to David and Judy Bristol on Saturday for a chicken barbeque. On Sunday they had a ham dinner with 13 family members attending for Mother’s day. Everyone had a good time, great weather and some fishing.
Davis and Judy also ask for prayer for Michelle at this time.
April, Zachary and Danica Barnes, Danville visited her parents on Sunday. They walked up back so Virginia Ward could see the twins, then over to Jim and Lynda Quinn’s to see the geese and chickens. It was a beautiful day.
The Granville Center Church had their Mother-Daughter banquet on Saturday evening.
Cindy Putnam spent the weekend at her daughter Jami’s home in VanEtten, NY watching grandsons while Jami and Mike went to Carlisle, PA for the weekend. Cindy and the boys went to the Arts Fest on Sunday, it was a beautiful weekend.
