There was some discussion about the Memorial fund and it was decided to keep it the same as it is. One suggestion was that we should plant spring bulbs this fall around the Memorial plot.
Someone suggested we have a placard with names or put them on the sign at the entrance to the driveway, but the three names on the sign now are the ones who first established the chapter here and there is not room for everyone. It was decided we might miss someone, so that was vetoed. It was decided to send $150 dollars, approximately half of one month's electric bill to the Township out of the fund. We will discuss this further after members have time to think about it.
A "thank-you" card will be sent to the Township for thawing out the sewer lines so we could use the facilities.
April 9th will be a brown bag auction. Members should bring something that people might like to have in a brown bag. Site council was adjourned and Melba Campbell asked the blessing on the luncheon which consisted of bean and ham soup, sandwiches, garden salad and milk.
