Barbara Morris was with us again as Mary McKerrow is still recuperating from surgery.
Site council was held and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and the Lord's Prayer. The minutes were read and accepted. The treasurer's report was also accepted.
Site Council president, Helen Mickley, said that since the furnace has been transferred from fuel oil to natural gas, we will have a monthly fee of $15.20 for the new meter plus part of the cost of the gas.
Next week will be birthday celebration for members who had birthdays in August and September. The members also voted to hire Bill Connally to do the cleaning and he will be given a list when there are things needed beyond the regular schedule.
The members voted to meet at the Iron Skillett for lunch on November 11th. at eleven thirty a.m. Discussion was held on holding a book and bake sale in early November. More will be decided later.
Flu shots will be available on October 8th here at the Center.
S ylvia Roy has reduced price tickets for the Heritage Festival at Troy.

At the November Site Council we will hold an election of officers for the coming year. Helen would like to find someone to take her place as president. Pastor Micky Cavanugh asked the blessing on the lunch. It was a Mexican menu with taco meat on tortilla chips, Spanish rice with beans, romaine lettuce with salsa packet and gelatin fruit cup.
