We welcomed Phyllis Ward back. She has been recuperating from a broken ankle. Attendance was down as several regular members were away.
Following the band music, Mary, our leader, discussed several options we have. One was a bus trip to an entertainment place in New Jersey that sponsors stage shows. We would have a choice of several shows and dates. We also discussed options for the Senior-Night-Out on July 25th
Several suggestions were made of caterers we might be able to get. Another option is to each bring a dish to pass and have musical entertainment. Mary will check on who might be available to cater and get back to us next week. The entertainment for next Thursday will be bingo with Diane from the Bradford County Manor. July 23rd, Linda and Bob Lee will bring musical entertainment.
Saturday will be the Fourth of July and we wished everyone a safe and happy holiday.
The meeting closed with the Pledge to Allegiance.
The menu for today was ground chuck pepper steak with gravy, cabbage noodles and broccoli and an apple.
