Lester Maynard has been in the hospital again and we were glad to see him back today.
Site Council opened with the Lord's Prayer. The secretary's minutes and treasurer's report were read and approved. Members were reminded to bring finger foods on June 11th for Super Bingo on June 14th. Senior Citizens will not be held on June 25th because of the Senior Citizens Outing at Alparon Park. On July 25th we will have a Senior Night Out. It was suggested that instead of having it catered, we have hotdogs and bring a dish to pass .There will be musical entertainment on that day. Members were asked to bring perennial bulbs to be planted in the fall around the flagpole.
Mary McKerrow, our leader, said that the South Creek Township Supervisors had checked the fire extinguishers and the water is being tested for purity. Also Sunfish Pond area on Armenia Mountain has been updated and is a nice park area now. The road to get to it has also been worked on.
One of the members brought some reported Aloe plants for anyone who wanted to take one.
In June we are asked to bring our wedding pictures so they can be displayed and members can guess who the couples are.. There will also be a tribute to Fathers by writing a few words on "My Dad was_______.
Site Council closed and Mary read an article about some sayings attributed to Yankee baseball player, Yogi Berra.
