I would hope many of my thirteen readers would agree with me -- a furnished front porch is a great place to relax after a day of working! Especially when others may join you for pleasant conversation.
Not many years back there was a "grand rush" to remove such porches, and in so doing spoil the appearance of many old homes.
That is why I find there is a present, widespread, effort to replace and restore just such porches.
If you will venture throughout the community, you will discover many of these new porches in our neighborhood.
Geoffrey McNett is bringing about a "polished gam."
There are several efforts on Washington Street and elsewhere.
Thanks for all your hard work and expense!
