A Call for Fair Play
In effect, this group is a "back to science" group who have stood by too long while assumptions were published as dogma and in ways that are made to appear to the unsuspecting as "facts."
For examples the writer of the foreword to the latest edition of Darwin's "Origin of Species", (a leading evolutionary biologist and Fellow of the Royal Society) has recognized, "Belief in the theory of evolution is exactly parallel to belief in special creation; both are concepts which believers know to be true; but neither, up to the present has been capable of proof." I shall add, that is why we call if faith.
So then, when dates, and information are published as conclusive, reliable, indisputable fact, when in reality they are the result of assumption, some people of science begin to stir. New blood is moving into science; new blood that does not believe "the longer something is published the truer it is."
Questions are being asked; reasonable doubts are being brought forward. It is my firm belief that science should not hide or ignore the questions or "cover-over" the problems, nor "groom the facts" (selecting some, discarding others).
In our day, it is as clear as ever, that it is not the science of a scientist that plays down creation - it is the philosophy of the scientist. It's time to call for fair play!
