Arlene Quail said that her friend Janie Burgess had stopped in to see her this morning for awhile.
On Friday, my sisters Jeannette May and Pauline Clark and I enjoyed a day out. It was actually Pauline's birthday, but we were celebrating us all by doing a little shopping - had lunch at a different restaurant and stopped for ice cream on our return home. It was an all around good sister day.
Irma Earley went with her daughter Debbie Elliott to Twin Oaks on Friday to visit Irma's brother Paul Machmer Sr. They also stopped at the Windfall Cemetery to clean up their winter wreaths.
In Friday, Lavonne McNett reported that she drove over to Cherry Flats to visit her brother Duane Frost. After having lunch she then went on to Mansfield to visit her daughter, Mary and David Tice. After leaving the Tices' she went plant shopping at Wal-Mart, Agway and Lowe's in Mansfield.
Kathy Temple and her sister Bonnie were in Williamsport on Saturday to attend a "Spring Tea." The theme was Spring Hats so they wore decorated hats. They also attended church on Sunday and wore their hats for "Derby Hat Day." Sounds like a fun day. On Saturday afternoon Kathy helped Bonnie start painting the rails on her deck. They had half of the rails painted by Sunday afternoon. (I'm pretty sure they didn't work all night.)
Jeannie Summers took her mother Carol Cole and her little companion Micah to Mt. Pisgah for a picnic lunch today.

Frances also had an appointment for an eye checkup with Dr. Lightman in Williamsport this past week. Frances' son Richard and Barb Kobbe took her for that appointment.
