As I checked the third floor, my sister Jeannette May said that she saw her grandson Cameron May at his mother's home on Thursday this last week. Cameron had just returned home from having a checkup with his doctor. Jeannette said Cameron seemed in good spirits and doing well since his accident. While there she also saw her little great-grandsons Tayton and Tommy Thompson who always brighten everyone's day.
Jeannette and I went to LeRoy, Sunday night to check on the cemetery lots. The flowers she planted didn't survive the winter, so looks like a do over. On the return to Canton we stopped at Flavorland for an ice cream treat.
When I saw Pauline Watts she said she talked to her son Kelly, he said it was raining in Arizona. Guess they need it there. Pauline reported 8 or 9 folks made it out to coffee hour, Thursday.
Arlene Quail reported she, along with Charlotte Tillotson and a couple other ladies attended the Chiz Rider Concert at the Alba Christian Church, Sunday.
Irma Earley said she was in Troy, Tuesday for a scheduled dentist appointment.
Sunday, Irma attended the Ward Church before having lunch with her daughter, Maxine and Davis Shedden at the Iron Skillet, Sylvania. After lunch Dave and Maxine took Irma for an enjoyable drive around the countryside as they returned to Canton.
I stopped in to see Helen Reed for a moment on my rounds. She seems to be settling in well. It was good to visit her for a while.
Kathie Temple and her sister Bonnie Vanemon traveled to Williamsport to visit their mother, in a nursing home, Saturday.
They stopped for groceries afterward to make lasagna for lunch, Sunday. They also made chicken noodle soup to take to all the ill friends, Monday.
Kathie commented that her sister Bonnie is doing well since her knee surgery and going for physical therapy two times a week.
Carol Cole attended the concert at the Calvary Alliance Church, Saturday to hear the Gospel group, "The Promise". Carol said that the group was incredible and she very much enjoyed them. There were refreshments and fellowship following the concert.
Carol Brown said she and Arlene Quail were at the American Legion, Friday evening for supper and it was very good.
Saturday night, Carol went to see some of the girl's dresses at the prom. They were all beautiful. Many photos were taken. They all had a wonderful time and good food while there.
Jessie Herman's grandson David Herman and his mother Kathy Dennis came to see her, Saturday. Sunday, Tim Graham and his daughter Viva Tappan called on Jessie.
Charlotte Tillotson's son Jim and Sue Tillotson came to see her, Saturday. While here they attended the Maple Festival, Troy. Charlotte joined her daughter Faye and Brad Pepper at their home in Granville Smt. for lunch, Sunday.
Frances Kobbe also attended "The Promise" concert at Calvary Alliance Chapel, Saturday evening. Frances commented that it was very uplifting.
Saturday morning, Frances' daughter Carol Bastion took her shopping at Barnstead Pantry.
Kathy Temple called the game of bingo this evening with 5 residents participating. Jackie Wesneski won the coverall.
