I didn't get to coffee hour this past Thursday in order to go to WalMart in Mansfield with my sister Jeannette May. As I was leaving I didn't see many in attendance. Maybe five or six but they were having a fine time and assured me they would talk nice about me while I was away.
Charlotte Tillotson's visitors this past week have been her daughters, Kay and Fay Pepper, Dawn Pepper, with her children and friend Becka.
Charlotte's son Jim and Sue stopped for lunch with her on Thursday. On Sunday Charlotte called on Jean Monroe who resides at Hillcrest Apts., in Troy.
Arlene Quail attended the Lenten Luncheon at the Ecumenical Church on Tuesday. Irma Earley attended as well with her daughters Maxine Shedden and Debbie Elliot.
Arlene Quail was at her daughter Carol and Tom Sagers' home for lunch on Sunday with six other family members. Arlene commented that the lunch was scheduled earlier, but had to be changed because of (you guessed it) the weather.
LaVonne McNett reported that after church services on Sunday, she went to have lunch with her friends Lynne and Barry Humber on Sylvania Mountain.
This last Friday, Jeannette May and I enjoyed the delicious homemade soup supper at St. Michael's Church Hall before attending the Stations of the Cross led by members of the Altar and Rosary Society ladies.
After church services at Ward Church on Sunday, Irma Earley enjoyed the ride to Sylvania where she had lunch with her daughter Maxine and Dave Shedden at the Iron Skillet.
Kathy Temple who was visiting Carol Brown when I stopped in this morning said that she and her sister Bonnie and Andy Vanemon were at the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant, Elmira on Sunday for lunch.
Carol Brown said she is just nursing her hurt foot hoping she can find out what's going on with it when she has an appointment with her doctor. We wish her well.
Mary Turner reported that she made dinner for her brothers Ernie and Chet Turner on Sunday. She commented that they really liked it.
After Mass on Sunday, Jeanette May and I enjoyed having breakfast with Ralph, Dann, and Wendy Lepper at Kelley's Creekside Restaurant.
Frances Kobbe said that Steve Bastion drove her to keep her dentist appointment on Thursday of this past week.
My little great granddaughter, Alivia Jo Hicks is coming to spend a little time with me while her mother keeps an appointment. Hopefully she will color me a new picture to put on the fridge while she is here.
A number of residents here took advantage of the hand waxing event going on in the community room on Tuesday, the 17th.
My granddaughter Amy DeCristo offered to help me with some spring house cleaning tomorrow. Of course i took her up on it. I love her company and she reaches everything without climbing.
Seven residents were at the Monday evening bingo game that's including the caller of the game, Kathy Temple.
