On the injured, sick list are Carlene Austin who took a bad fall and messed up her leg and shoulder very badly. She is mending well.
Pamula from her fall has a metal plate below her eye and is healed from that and Dilmon Dunbar took a tumble on the ice. That was the bad news three weeks ago.
Now the good news. Christmas is over and our tree is down. The new year has started. Let's move on to taxes. April 15 is just around the corner.
Birthdays this week: Jan 6, Mary Ellen Goodwin; 7th, Jackie Smith Barnes; 11th, Alex Smith will be 8 and on the 14th, Dave Smith will be 55. Dick and Jean Strobridge will have another wedding bell to ring. I know it's up there.
I forgot to tell you about Wetona United Methodist Women's at Wellsburg dinner. Twenty-three were in attendance and John the Baptist Huntington showed up. He came over to take out. We all had a great time.
The Sunday before Christmas, Abbie, Alex, Case and Rehm Smith went out Christmas caroling and giving out cookies and candy. At first they were all together with their songs. Then one was singing one song, two were singing another and Alex danced and did his own thing. They all had a good time.
Well for the news now again.
Barb Eiffert is very sick and Sherry Thomas had her appendix out. Then went in for two inches of her bowel removed.
Arizona and Dakota both gave had a flu bug. I told them to stay away.
Well, that's about it for this week anyway. Have a good one.
