Randy, my mom, Lois and I were in North Carolina last week. I wrote my column and had my cousin e-mail it to the paper, but some place in the air wave, it got lost.
I always fax my column, so here's a brief version of last weeks.
Big Pond's Lions Fish Fry went well.
Prayer list includes Neil McDonald who will have surgery; Gerald Pratt is having tests; Carlene Austin's thumb is doing better and my foot still hurts when I walk too much.
John Sidel broke his thumb, badly.
Well it's that time of year when the little ghosts and goblins come out. This Saturday is Halloween so watch out for the kids running from house to house.
Wednesday, Oct. 28 is Randy and my 26th wedding anniversary. He will be on the road and I'm going to my sister's. How romantic is that?
Do you know it's less then two months till Christmas? And don't forget Thanksgiving.
There is a chill in the air. For those who use wood heat, don't forget to clean out the chimney. fires can start quickly.
Have a good week.
