Margaret Winder, Abbie Smith, and I went to Mt. Pisgah for a Dutch Oven Cooking class. After a while June and Ernie Scott pulled in. They brought Ernie's sister Mari and husband Andy Cayouette and a cousin Ted Scott. Then here comes Jerry and Alice Frantz with daughter Allison and granddaughter, Alexis LaFever from Central, NY. They came down for the Dutch Oven Cooking class. We all had a good time and a lot of good food we made.
Ernie and June and Ted Scott went to a Pittsburgh Pirates game vs. St. Louis Cardinals. The game was good and after the fireworks were just spectacular. Then they stayed at a bed and breakfast, The Inn on Mexican War Street. Est. in 1870.
Last Thursday Jerry and Alice Frantz were busy cooking. They had Pastor Josh, Helen, Doug, and Sally Leiby, Allen and Sharon Sargent, over for dinner. Good food and good fellowship was had by all.
Arizona and Levi went to a sale and came home with a 1923 Ford Pickup truck. Arizona barely fits behind the wheel.
