Shirley Huslander and Phyllis Johnston called on me, Sunday. Hazel was up and spent Saturday and Sunday with Roger. I was glad to hear my daughter-in-law came home from the hospital, Saturday. By Elaine Gee Well, I guess it's time I got around and started my news.
Edie and Laura called on me one day last week. I have some news they had. A lot of friends and family were at Ruth Manley's memorial service on Saturday. Her daughters came in from California and Florida and Sue came down from Apalachin, NY. Phyllis lives in Florida and Ann and her family are from California. My daughter-in-law is back in the Sayre Hospital. Get well Evelyn. Hazel and Roger were over to Wal-Mart on Sunday afternoon. She has been spending a lot of time up here with Roger. Visitors came up and saw me on Monday. This is short but I hope to have more next time. By Elaine Gee Well I guess I better get busy and start my news as it's Monday night.
Roger, Hazel and I went over to Twin Oaks to see Mable Lewis and Madaline Sjoblom. I saw Gladys Scott also. Jessie and Jake Barnes came out and saw Grammie on Friday. Hazel got moved to Hillcrest Apartments on Tuesday. Her daughter Betty came down to help her. Harold and Marsha Benson came over from Canton to help. Ron and Vi called on me, Wednesday. Virginia Wood had a fall and broke her arm in two places and is in the Bradford County Manor. I just heard about it last week. I haven't forgotten you Ginny. You are in my prayers. Judy Bristol called one day and said that Earl and Linda were coming over for turkey dinner on Friday. Hazel Benson said she was moving to Hillcrest Apartments on Tuesday. We surely will miss her. We can call each other. Edie and her granddaughter were here on Thursday morning. On Friday afternoon I called on Bob and Evelyn. On Sunday Terri called on me while great-granddaughter played volleyball in the gym. Jake and Jessie Connor and Kylie also called on me Sunday afternoon. My condolences go out to Miles Pratt's family and Barb Eiffert's family. Judy called and she was down to see Madaline at Twin Oaks last week. By Elaine Gee Well I am getting my news around early.

My grandson Oliver Perry got married, Saturday afternoon down in North Carolina. His father and mother Sonja and girls, Jessie and Jake and little ones were all there. My granddaughter and Jake have been over to Bahamas on vacation. By Elaine Gee Well another week is here and I decided to start my news.
Bob called on Evelyn over at the RPH, Thursday. Judy and David and I went to Towanda shopping and had lunch at Burger King. A real good day together, Friday. They had a very good turn out to the Firemen's Appreciation Dinner, Saturday night. The food was very good. Laura and Edie called on me, Friday morning. Glad to hear that Debbie Spalding is back and she is good. Terri and Vern Perry called o me, Sunday afternoon. They were over here to a meeting and had dinner at the Firehouse and hey had good food. by Elaine Gee I guess I do have some news.
My grandson L.J. called me this afternoon and said it was 20 degrees out at the Great Lakes. Sue was up on Thursday morning and brought a picture of the ship that he will be on. He will be going to Hawaii for two years, after he finishes his schooling. Well I guess we are getting cold weather.
Bob, Evelyn, and myself were over to Sayre for her to see her doctor. Ron and Vi were up on Saturday. Edie was up on Saturday. Parker Renzo was up to grandpa and grandma Suazo's on Sunday. Get well wishes to Evelyn as she was back in the hospital. My condolence to Ruth Manley's family. This Week I guess there isn't going to be much this week due to weather. Edie and I went to Mansfield on Thursday and had lunch at Eddie's Truck Stop. We enjoyed the food. Bob and Evelyn were here on Saturday. I heard this morning on the radio school was delayed for two hours. This is short but I stay home in this kind of weather. Stay home and stay warm. My grandson L.J. called from Great Lakes. He's in schooling for electrician mate. Waiting for orders to see where he is going to be stationed. My grandson Demetrius is on the Towanda swim team. By Elaine Gee Vi and Ron Slater went to Fassett on Tuesday to visit Larry and Linda Sullivan. They have been having health problems; so we must keep them in our prayers.
If you see Ruth Overrein on January 15th, wish her happy birthday or Pat Overrein on January 21 wish her happy birthday. From the 15th to the 21st they are the same age. On Saturday, Vi, Paige, Pati and Ron all went to Sharon Fleming's for a birthday party for Shelby Fleming who is three and her grandfather David Fleming. Also if you see Lester Watkins Jr. of Troy on January 17th wish him happy birthday. According to Joe Snedeker on TV 16, winter is half over. So hang in there. Spring is coming. Have a good week. I guess I will start my news, Thursday. It's Friday and I had three of my daughters here: Laura, Edie, and Terri. They cleaned my living room and got it ready for Christmas. It really looks nice. Vi and Ron Slater stopped in and had lunch with us. My son Rob stopped up later in the afternoon. By Elaine Gee
Hi to all of my friends. I still don't feel good. My daughters were here on Wednesday for the afternoon Ron and Vi were here a couple of times. Always glad to see them. Edie has been a lot of help to me since I have been sick. Elaine Gee is home and we hope she is doing fine! I see all four of her girls when coming in and out and some grandbabies too! So keep eating good, drinking, and take your meds, Elaine.
Phyllis Jones is up from Scranton this weekend checking in on Aunt Mary Carney and mom Jean Hamm. Howie Hamm is taking good care of them. We still want to keep Hazel Benson in our prayers. Roger told Vi Slater that she is doing better. |
