July was a great month, a busy one, despite several planned promotional events that had to cancel, I still made all efforts to promote and surprise individuals with ice cream treats.
For those that do not know me, my name is Katelyn Taylor. I am serving as the 2020-2021 Lycoming County Dairy Princess. I love what I do but I only have until May 2021, so I sure hope our paths cross, as time is swirling by just like an ice cream treat!
As a determined promoter, I offered alternative options and delivered DAIRY-licious ice cream surprises and countless milkshakes.

“Extremely busy,” you say, I can relate more than you can imagine, most do not even want to talk about my schedule with all the things I do plus serve as Dairy Princess!
However, adding dairy to your diet can be as easy as enjoying a glass of milk for breakfast or milk on your cereal, a glass of milk for lunch or an ice cream treat, and a glass of milk for supper, extra cheese on your meal or finish off the day with another ice cream treat!
Please support your local small businesses and thank a farmer. The hours farmers work can be more than many work in three weeks.
Farmers give up countless family events to feed the world. So in turn, your way of thanking a farmer can be as easy as buying local, looking for the PA Preferred logo or code 42 on your dairy products; and/or by following along & participating in offerings/events on our Lycoming County Dairy Promotion Facebook page and of course, by getting your 3-A-Day of Dairy Everyday!
