The event is open to serious runners, not-so-serious runners and walkers. It is a chip-timed race.
The Kids Fun Run begins at 9:30 a.m. with the 5K starting promptly at 10.
Dogs are more than welcome to walk/run with their humans! Strollers and children are welcome to walk with adults as well.
In the spirit of Halloween, organizers are encouraging everyone to dress for the occasion! Prizes will be given out to winners in all age groups, as well as prizes for the best costume and best human/doggie novelty!
There is no cost or registration fee for the Kids Fun Run. Needed items for the rescue are listed on the Demon Dash 5K Facebook page if kids want to donate.
The cost to register for the 5K is $25. At this point online registration is closed for the event, but you can still register by contacting Shelley, 570-250-5464. Also you may contact demondash5K@gmail.com.
