On October 4, 2015 Phil Kasper, Land Manager for the Pennsylvania Game Commission, will be conducting a tour of State Game Lands #12 and #36, which are located in the most remote area of Bradford County. These two adjoining game lands consist of 43,408 acres.
Automobiles will be allowed to begin tour at 10:00 a.m. and continues until 2:00 p.m.. If care is used, the roads are in good enough condition for most vehicles. A porta-potty is located at the beginning of the tour.
A tour guide will be given to the driver of each vehicle. This guide, which is becoming a collector’s item, contains stories and pictures each year on the history of both the mountain and the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

On Saturday, August 8, 2015, 288 women gathered at Mt. Pisgah State Park for the 16th annual Women in the Wilds event, sponsored by the Friends of Mt. Pisgah. From pulling back the bowstrings of a compound bow, to discovering plants used to brew wild teas, to creating a grapevine ball or surviving in the wild, these ladies took advantage of the different hands-on opportunities offered, enjoying their time spent in the outdoors, at Mt. Pisgah State Park. Women practiced their marksmanship on the rifle range, paddled through Stephen Foster Lake, imitated predator and prey animal calls, and found geocaches with the use of a GPS.

I see by the forecast that it will warming up the next couple of day. I hope so! These temperatures in the 50's are getting a bit too much.
There were three 700 series bowled for the men, no 600 series for the women and one 600 series and two 500 series bowled for the youth this past week.
