Cecil Castle To Be Inducted Into Troy USBC Bowling Hall of Fame

     Cecil Castle has been married to his wife Susan for 31 years.  They have three sons: Robert is married and lives in Kentucky, Jeremy lives in DC, and Joshua is married and lives in Indiana, Pa with his wife Julie and two sons, Nathaniel and Noah.  Susan and Cecil also have a daughter Cindy who lives in North Carolina and is getting married in August 2015.
    Cecil enjoys his bowling, but also has a passion for hunting,  ATA  trap shooting in which he has about ten perfect scores of 100 in 16 yard shoots and golfing in which he had a hole in one at Corey Creek.
    Cecil’s bowling history includes a 747 high series, two 300 games and a 298 game.  He has attended the National Bowling Tournament five different times, the Pennsylvania State Bowling Tournament 24 times and will attend this year for 25 years in the state tournament.  Cecil is sure he has had an average for every man’s league at Terrace Lanes at one time or other and also on the Mixed Leagues.
    The Troy USBC Hall of Fame Committee and Cecil’s peers are happy to announce that on March 28th 2015 Cecil Castle will be inducted into the Troy USBC Bowling Hall of Fame.

   Jim was born on January 8, 1937 in Springfield to Edward (Mike) and Dorothy Jenkins.  He is one of six children.  Jim graduated from Troy High School in 1954.  In 1958 he married Jean  Walsh from Bentley Creek and they raised five children.
    Jim owned and operated his dairy farm in Springfield from 1960 to 1980.  Following his retirement from the dairy farm he worked for Carl Pierce Equipment and later for Sire Power.  Since his retirement, Jim has served for many years as Cattle Superintendent for the Troy Fair.
Jim was introduced to bowling on early dates with Jean.  He began his league bowling career as a sub on various teams in the 1960’s and 70’s.  Jim and his late wife Jean, bowled in a Sunday Night Couples league ion the 1990’s.  For a number of years now Jim has been bowling in the Tuesday Night Mixed League and the Wednesday Night Late League.
