Canton drew first blood on a 55-yard scamper for TD by James Bowman. Ridge Moore passed to Malachi Washington for the two point conversion to give Canton an 8-0 lead at 4:39 in the first period.
After Bucktail tied the score, Canton stormed back to retake the lead, with Ridge Moore scoring from the one-yard line. Moore passed to Bryce Cole for two points and Canton led 16-8 at 6:27 of the second period.
On Canton's next possession Ridge Moore and Malachi Washington combined for a 17-yard pass play for a socre. Moore ran for two points and Canton led 24-8 with 4:14 left in the half.
After a Bucktail TD with a failed conversion try, Canton stretched the lead to 32-14 at the half when Bryce Cole scored from ten yards out at the 1:25 mark of the first half. Gavin Hoffman was successful on the two-point conversion.
James Bowman scored his second touchdown on an eight-yard carry at the 7:25 mark of the second half and added the two-point conversion to make it 40-14.
After a Bucktail score and a two-point conversion, Canton led 40-22 with 2:57 left in the third period.
The Warriors answered with the points coming on James Bowman's third touchdown of the game, this one from a yard out, Gavin Hoffman's two-point conversion made the score 48-22 with 1:51 left in the third.
With 10:09 to play in the game, James Bowman scored for the fourth time, also form a yard out. The two point conversion failed and the Warriors led 54-22.
Bucktail scored on a long pass play to make it 54-28 and then Bowman added his fifth touchdown of the game, scoring from the four-yard line with 5:34 to play. The try for two failed and Canton led 60-28.
Bucktail added a late score to make the final 60-35.
James Bowman ran for 160 yards on 20 carries. Gavin Hoffman picked up 108 yards on 13 carries. Ridge Moore ran for 33 yards. Bryce Cole gained 29 yards rushing. The Warriors compiled 337 rushing yards.
Ridge Moore completed eight of ten passes, good for 97 yards. Malachi Washington had three receptions for 54 yards. Bryce Cole caught two passes for ten yards. Moore completed one pass each to James Bowman (18 yards); Gabe Barnett (18 yards) and Gavin Hoffman (seven yards.).
