It took eight innings but the Warriors baseball team defeated Wellsboro 7-2 on April 3.
Mason Moore pitched the first 3 1/3 innings for Canton. He struck out five batters. John Bowman finished up, pitching 4 2/3 innings. He fanned eleven batters.
Bowman also rapped out two hits, and scored on a passed ball with two out in the seventh to tie the game at 2-2.
Tyler Cole had three hits for Canton and scored a run.
Bryce Cole doubled twice and drove in a run.
Troy Boys Overpower Northeast, 15-5
The Troy baseball team defeated Northeast 15-5 on April 6 in a game shortened to six innings.
Brandon Mattocks had two singles and a double, scored four runs and drove in one.
Kyle Jackson had two singles and a double and drive in three runs while scoring once.
Kyle Schucker singled twice and had a double. He scored two runs.
Dane Smith also had two singles and a double, drove in a run and scored once.
Jason Mattocks drove in two runs with two singles.
Isaac Havens singled and doubled, drove in three runs and scored once.
Mitchell Morse singled and scored a run, driving in one.
Brock Schucker scored once and Colin Binford drive in a run and scored once.
Kyle Jackson worked the first three innings. He walked four and struck out four, surrendered two hits and one run.
Chance Lantz pitched two innings, giving up two walks and two runs. He struck out two batters.
Isaac Havens pitched the sixth inning, gave up two runs, a hit and walked two.
Wellsboro Boys Trim Warriors
The Wellsboro baseball team slipped past Canton 4 to 3 on April 6.
Two sixth inning Wellsboro runs broke a 2-2 tie. Canton rallied for one run in the bottom of the sixth but couldn't tie the score.
Clayton Tymeson started on the mound for Canton. He worked two innings. Bryce Cole and Brendon Landis each pitched an inning. John Bowman pitched three innings.
Warrior Boys Swamp Wyalusing
The Canton baseball team defeated Wyalusing 11-1 on April 8.
John Bowman pitched the first three innings and struck out four. Brendon Landis stuck out two in one inning of work. Mason Moorse pitched an inning, walked three and struck out one.
Tyler Cole drove in four runs for Canton. He had three hits and scored a run.
Travis Butcher had two hits and scored three times.
Trevor Route had two hits, drove in two runs and scored a run and Mason Martell had two singles and scored twice, driving in a run.
Clayton Tymeson singled and scored twice. Brendon Landis had a hit.

The Troy baseball team used a big eight-run inning to spark a 15-5 victory over Sayre April 9.
Kyle Schucker drove in five runs for Troy and scored twice. He rapped two doubles.
Brock Schucker singled and drove in four runs.
Isaac Havens scored three runs and had a double.
Jarrod Mattocks had two singles and scored twice.
Brandon Mattocks drove in two runs, scored once and had a hit.
Chance Lantz drove in a run and scored once.
Collin Binford scored a run and drove in a run.
Kyle Jackson singled and scored.
