Robert "Bob" Fulmer

     Robert J. Fulmer, 76,  Roaring Branch, passed away September 18, 2015 at his daughter’s home in Granville Summit.
    Born in Roaring Branch on February 8, 1939, Robert John, “Bob” was a son of the late Charles E. and Beatrice (Sones) Fulmer.  After attending Canton schools, He served in the U.S. Army.  On Dec. 19, 1964, he married the former Catherine E. Beck at East Point United Methodist Church. They were married 40 years before Cathy’s passing on Nov. 2, 2005.  Bob was employed as a tool grinder at Ward Manufacturing in Blossburg until retiring in 2008.  He was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Grover and enjoyed coin collecting, cutting wood, gardening, fishing and hunting.

  
    Surviving are his children, Alice E. Hopple, Ocean View, DE, Eileen (Jeff) Deutschle,Granville Summit, Rebecca A. Fulmer, Williamsport and Peggy S. (Matthew) Dixon, Brisbane, Australia; six grandchildren; Meriam Linder, Naomi Volo, Gretta Fenninger, Benjamin Deutschle, Nathan Dixon and Grace Dixon; five great-grandchildren; siblings; Josephine (Jim) Treat, Beverly Mead, Bonnie Terry, Mary (Ray) Bedford, Lucy (Lynn) Bigelow and Harold (Jeanne) Fulmer, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
    In addition to his wife Catherine, Bob was predeceased by two sisters; Helen O’Conners and Dorothy Snyder.
    His pastor, Rev. Jerry Schmidt officiated a memorial service at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Grover 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 21.
     A private burial in East Point’s Union Cemetery will be held at a later date.  
     His family suggests your consideration of a memorial in Bob’s name to Susquehanna Health Cancer Center, 1100 Grampian Blvd. Williamsport, PA 17701.     Pepper Funeral Home, 578 Springbrook Dr. in Canton was in care of arrangements.
