
Born February 9, 1946, he was the son of the late Wilson and Mary Wynne Brann, lifelong Canton residents.
After graduating from Bloomsburg State University, he served in the Peace Corps in Guatemala.
He is survived by his former wife, Margaret Jobmann Brann, of Wesley Chapel, FL, three children, Christopher (Dianne), of Paris KY, Elizabeth (Robert) Detweiler of Albany NY and Jessica (Ian) Duffy of White River Jct., VT; brothers James, of Tiverton RI and Paul, of Lewisburg PA, and sister Catherine Corea of Binghamton NY. He is also survived by grandchildren Elke Ingrid Brann, Alaric Orion Brann, Navah Elise Duffy and Gabriel Liam Duffy, and many nieces and nephews.
He was a lifelong member of the Catholic faith. Ever a gentle and kind man, he will also be sorely missed by extended family, friends, and students whose lives he touched.
Services will be held privately at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
