Steven James was born in Brooklyn, NY April 30, 1944, a son of the late Otto Vellerup Hansen and Mary (Tobiansky) Szczsinisniwicz.
Steve was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He worked as an auto body technician and mechanic. Most recently for Fitzpatrick & Lambert in Dushore and earlier at McClure Auto Dealership in Troy.
Steve, “Papa Hansen”, will always be remembered for his “pink bellies” and “circus tricks” but mostly for his endless supply of love and joy of his four wonderful and amazing granddaughters.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law; Michael and Kathryn Hansen of Marietta, PA, four granddaughters who were the light of his life; Hailey, Zoe, Aurora and Willow, two brothers and a sister; Sam Hansen of Dover, NJ, Orey Hansen of Lewisburg and Andrea Seymour of Greer, SC, four nephews and two nieces, special friends; Steve and Carol Bastion and Julia Palmer all of Alba, The gang at Troy Lunch and his cat, Pumpkin.
