Richard Dale Campbell

   Richard Dale Campbell, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend; was born August 7, 1939 in Canton, the son of the late Charles Richard and Nedra (Hickok) Campbell. He passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 peacefully in his sleep at his home at the age of 77.
    His infant brother, Allen Campbell preceded him in death.         Dale is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Connie (Bonning) Campbell; son, Charles D. Campbell with fiancée, Patty Santos; daughter, Pamela (Rob) Davis; grandsons, Joshua, Jordan and Maxwell Campbell, and Travis Brown; beloved siblings, Deronda (Robert) Bieri, Joyce Jones, Daphna (Harold "Tex") Watkins and Audrey (Eddie) Watkins; along with mother-in-law, Norma Batroney and several nieces and nephews. 
   He was a hard working man and a man of many talents. He owned and operated Kehler-Fields Inc. in Covington, as well as several other automotive businesses throughout his life. After working in the automotive field his entire life, he retired from NAPA Auto Parts in Blossburg. ​
         Dale was the former President of the Lions Club in Mansfield where he headed up the chicken BBQ on July 4th. 
     In his earlier years, Dale loved riding his motorcycle and later traded that in for his pie tins. He loved to bake and cook and was well known for his pies and especially his pie crust. He loved picnicking with family and visiting with his sisters and brothers-in-law.
   Funeral service was held at the Olthof Funeral Home, Elmira,NY  February 27 with Lay Pastor William Baker officiating. 
   Interment was in the Daggett Cemetery where Military Honors were accorded 
​    Memorial donations may be directed to the Daggett United Methodist Church, Church Street, Millerton, PA 16936.
