Born on May 5, 1922 in Granville Twp., PA she was the last of seven children born to the late Ralph and Irene Packard. Rhea was a graduate of Troy High School. She was employed by Pierce’s Restaurant in Elmira Heights as a waitress for many years until her retirement.
Rhea loved spending summers on Keuka Lake with her beloved dogs, Emma and Sydney. She was also an avid card player. She will be dearly missed and loved by all who knew her.
Surviving is daughter, Mary Ann (Ted) Dhuy of Penn Yan, NY; grandson, Mark (Allison) Dhuy of Pottstown, PA; two great grandchildren, Katelyn and Travis; sister in law, Mary Lou Packard of Canton many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral was held Monday, July 11th, at the Windfall United Methodist Church at noon with Pastor Josh Davinsizer and Rev. Jasper Smith officiating.
Burial was held in the Windfall Cemetery.
