Patricia “Pat” Stage, 76, Alba, PA passed away January 13, 2017 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.
Patricia Ann, “Pat” to family and friends, was born October 12, 1940 in Canton Township, PA. She was a daughter of the late Robert VanNoy, Madeline “Pat” (Allen) Bellows and step-daughter of Maxwell Bellows.
Pat was hard working and well respected in her career as a Para Legal. For many years, she worked with Attorney Epstein in Towanda and later with Attorney Patrick J. Barrett III in Canton. She also will be remembered as kind, compassionate and a lovely person by all who knew her. Pat enjoyed doing many things during her life; times shared with family and friends were always special to her. She was a member of Wheel Inn Club in Roaring Branch, the Canton WOTM Lodge 981 and Canton’s V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 714.
Surviving is her son, Michael G. Chopak of Alba, a brother and sister; Robert (Janet) VanNoy of Mansfield and Cleone Schweikart (Galen Norton) of Ogdensburg, sister-in-law, Debbie Gardner of Prattsburg, NY, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

She was predeceased by her son, Robert Dale Morgan on Jan. 29, 2012, her husband Bernard “Pete” Stage on Oct. 14, 2007 and a brother, Jerry Bellows.
In keeping with Pat’s wishes, there will be no public services. Interment will be at a later date. Those who wish may consider a memorial in Pat’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
