Born December 21st, 1928 in the town of Delaware, NJ, he was the son of Elmer and Olive (Quick) Lutz. He was the husband of the former Elizabeth Kuhnle, and together they raised four children.
Oliver was a man with a strong work ethic. Over the years he was employed at the Troy milk plant and later the Columbia Crossroads milk plant. Eventually he owned and operated his own dairy farm and whitewashed barn interiors in his spare time. Oliver was a man with an abiding faith in the Lord, and he shared that faith with his community when he became a lay minister. He also enjoyed the company of friends, and for several years hosted a Tuesday morning coffee klatch for his friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Elmer and Olive Lutz, his wife Elizabeth, son-in-law Cliff Fleming, grandson Jesse Lutz, brothers-in-law Leonard Manahan and Paul Darrow and granddaughter Jessica Hulslander.
