
Jule was born March 22, 1927 in Forksville, PA, one of six children of the late Arley Adam and Anna Kay (Osler) Day.
Following graduation with Estella High School’s class of 1945, she and Marvin were married on July 27.
Jule’s life revolved around family and home. When her children were raised, Jule worked as a teacher’s aide at Canton High School until retiring.
She enjoyed attending Millview Wesleyan Methodist and East Canton United Methodist Churches.
Jule adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also liked to travel and was happy being outside in nature. She especially loved vegetable and flower gardening, picking wild berries and making pies. Jule and Marvin enjoyed attending many community functions and church meals; pancake breakfasts were a favorite.
She was predeceased by daughter, Jane Phillips, siblings; Bruce Day, Gene Day, Ina Avery and Irene Fiester
Calling hours are 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan 6, at Pepper Funeral Home, 578 Springbrook Dr. in Canton and will resume 10:30 a.m. – 11a.m. Wednesday at the Millview Wesleyan Church. The funeral service will immediately follow with Pastor William Hargenrader, officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery in Elkland Twp., PA.
